Float

‘Float’ was the name given to this striking collection of bathroom fittings which I designed for ‘John Lewis’.

We were looking carefully at their FSC timber approval process and very keen to show what could be done with such marvelous, sustainable resources to create beautiful designs that people could invest in.

We wanted designs that would stand the test of time and a level of quality that would pay respect to the timber so I decided to combine precision-made metalware with geometric forms and make each piece its own little piece of industrial design sculpture.

Hopefully people will still be enjoying the finished products today…
