<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This fair city that I now call home has been the front of all my designs since I first set up in business turning Bedsprings into Eggcups way back in 1988!</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">So when I was commissioned by John Lewis to create a new collection of British made upholstery I couldn’t help a slight play on words by invoking my favourite period style of sofa and morphing the venerable Chesterfield into the contemporary ‘Chester’.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Aided and abetted by a certain Mr Dan Cooper – one of the most talented buyers at John Lewis – the new collection was a real winner and continues to be in demand to this day…a future Chesterfield perhaps?!</span></p>
